  • Behavioral ecologist and National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow
  • Member of the Pringle Lab at Princeton University
  • Investigating predator-prey dynamics with a special focus on direct and indirect predator effects on prey behavior, prey demography, and ecosystem functioning
    • Exploring anti-predator decision-making of large herbivores in response to predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, leopards, and wolves
    • Tracking the cascading effects of predators on soil and plant communities
    • Integrating behavioral and demographic information from predator monitoring projects, camera trapping initiatives, and manipulative experiments
  • Currently studying how ecological communities respond to predator reintroductions: can relationships between predators and prey be restored and does renewed predation risk trickle down to impact lower trophic levels?
  • Heavily involved with citizen science, public outreach, and capacity building
  • Collaborating to develop cutting-edge technological tools, including open-source software, hardware, and AI, to tackle complex conservation challenges
